            The Kingdom of Lithuania Association

 

Non-governmental The Kingdom of Lithuania Association (headed by H.E.Stanislovas Švedarauskas), the oldest and most reputable monarchist's movement of Lithuania along with other monarchical organizations examined a number of candidatures and arrived to the conclusion that H.S.H Inigo von Urach, Count of Württemberg is worthy of Lithuanian Royal Throne more than anybody  else .Inigo von Urach (born in 1962), direct descendant of the last Lithuanian King Mindaugas II, is a practicing Roman Catholic, dutiful father of one daughter and two sons. He is connected to Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, British, Russian, Monaco, Bavarian and Portuguese Royal families by birth. The Prince is actively working on positive country image establishment leading to deeper European integration.

Following the formal offer, done by the most numerable monarchist movement of Lithuania and recognition of his high statues, H.S.H. Prince Inigo von Urach, Count of Württemberg officially accepted the position. His full title since now will be: H.R.H.Prince Inigo of Lithuania, Fürst v. Urach,Count of Württemberg. Because the pretender to the throne is a professional soldier of the high rank, he understands deeply the importance of strong armed forces and aspirations of the young people to serve to its native land. Inigo is the only one of von Urach family with a military background (which is the obligatory to our mind). He regularly participates in NATO military exercises. His Highness is ready to realize with The Association common socio-cultural project baptized King Mindaugas Institute. The first official visit to Lithuania of the pretender to the Throne took place November 17-21, 2012.The Association and His Royal Highness decided to cooperate together to help Lithuania to achieve social welfare, national unity and social harmony, regardless of whether constitutional monarchy in Lithuania will be the de facto restored. He strives to create an attractive image of Lithuania across the Europe and contributes to various social, charitable projects. Prince's social activities, already noticed by the international press, even the people with whom Inigo von Urach even briefly interacted grew to respect him profoundly.
